She leads their rea son ing a strayD
She feigns an in ter est in stringE
Or yarn or any roll ing thingE
Un like the Dog she does not careF
With com mon Man her thoughts to shareF
She teach es us that in life's walkG
'T is bet ter to let oth ers talkG
And lis ten while they say in steadH
The fool ish things we might have saidH
