Cerberus Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCBBDDEEFF

Dear Reader should you chance to goA
To Hades do not fail to throwA
A Sop to Cerberus at the gateB
His anger to propitiateB
Don't say Good dog and hope therebyC
His three fierce Heads to pacifyC
What though he try to be politeB
And wag his Tail with all his mightB
How shall one amiable TailD
Against three angry Heads prevailD
The Heads must win What puzzles meE
Is why in Hades there should beE
A Watch dog 'tis I should surmiseF
The last place one would burglarizeF
