| I've drunk from the udder of suffering and hate | D |
| how it contorts my comfort | E |

| Many times have I named it an unwanted guest | F |
| brandished the blade of my trust in the almighty | G |
| towards it hoping it'll become | H |

| a bird that flies off at the touch of pebbles Still | I |
| this encounter fractures the legs of my faith into | J |
| wobbly limbs of doubt | K |

| Last night I slit open my heart with a scalpel of | L |
| prayer to let God see how despair sprawls | M |
| comfortably in the middle | N |

| He felt pity for this soul and promised to still my | O |
| raging storms God's hands mercy outstretched | P |
| furnished my life with reckless love which brought in grace | Q |

| At the entrance of grace my door flipped open for success | R |
| which came in and swiftly dismantled every brick of hardship | S |
| in this body | G |

| Slowly my life shapeshifts into a cloud of rose water oozing | B |
| hopeful fragrance that masks the foul smell of doubts | T |

| Unable to withstand the arrogance of my ambitions propelled | U |
| by God's grace my miseries morph into mists that fizzle at the | V |
| first sight of sunlight | W |
