Lonely Soul Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDAEDDAE DADFFEDD EDAE GEHE IJJADDDDFA DDDDKDL E M

Alone in sorrow I journeyA
Striding painfully in snail paceB
Lost in the desert of lonelinessC
Seductively Melancholy calledD
She sang songs of miseryA
The tales of my life she tellsE
Before my eyes she dramatisedD
In a dance drama she presentedD
The uncensored premier movieA
The movie of my beingnessE
-
With attention so great I watchedD
I listened to her foretelling my storyA
Did she edit itD
What a great narratorF
What a great script writerF
Like a genius she aligned the scenesE
Wistful thought she caused my heartD
For the glorious pass that's pastD
-
My emptiness before me she putsE
My losses she clearly pointed outD
The truth she caused me to seeA
But a twisted truth it isE
-
She got my attention and went for the killG
The flute of death she playsE
She enchanted me into it rhythmH
It mesmerized my beingnessE
-
Death appear dancing with flareI
To me they came together dancingJ
They smiled at me sayingJ
Come with us and be freeA
What is spoil is ruinedD
That which has decayedD
Cannot be preservedD
Your life cannot be salvagedD
The game is overF
Come with us and be happyA
-
The feeble soul embraces itD
The twisted truth appeals to itD
Their show of concern becomes a comfortD
A shoulder and comfort it neededD
A shoulder no one gaveK
A comfort none sparedD
Except for melancholy and deathL
-
Let's be kind to those who are passing through hard times To those who are traumatise and those who feel it's over in life Let's reach out to them before Melancholy and death doesE
