A few years ago, a little boy i was
Gentle, respectful and the world was no curse
With tears i remember that purity
That i held with both hands hoping for eternity
God was my priority
My family i considered superior
I will never forget those verses
I called good verses
I knew heaven was my destination
But as the sun rises
So shall not all men see it set
Dark clouds covered my sun
And i walked the world like a blind
First it was painful
But now am resistant
Life is not a bed of roses
