Because he become so hornyD

When he punctured my prideE
And denied me from being an honorable brideE

But I decided to live with the shameF
Since there is no one to take the blameF

Mom was always not aroundG
Or always busy in the kitchenH
Whenever I tried to whisperI
She never spare the time to listenH
Let me not say a word about dadJ
He cared so much about his newspaperI

When my life became tatteredK
And abashedL
But no one noticed at homeM

Poet's note: The poem "Tears Of Omotara" is written to expose the insecurity of being a girl child in our society today. I feel sad when I think of how the society have become insecure for a girl child both at home and outside their homes.
