Beautiful faceA
That like a daisy opens its petals to the sunB
So do youC
Open your face to me as I turn the pageD
-
Enchanting smileE
Any man would be under your spellF
Oh beauty of a magazineG
-
How many poems have been written to youC
How many Dantes have written to you BeatriceH
To your obsessive illusionB
To you manufacture fantasyI
-
But today I won't make one more ClichJ
And write this poem to youC
No no more clich sK
-
This poem is dedicated to those womenB
Whose beauty is in their charmL
In their intelligenceM
In their characterN
Not on their fabricated looksO
-
This poem is to you womenB
That like a Shahrazade wake upP
Everyday with a new story to tellF
A story that sings for changeQ
That hopes for battlesR
Battles for the love of the united fleshJ
Battles for passions aroused by a new dayS
Battle for the neglected rightsT
Or just battles to survive one more nightU
-
Yes to you women in a world of painV
To you bright star in this ever spending universeW
To you fighter of a thousand and one fightsT
To you friend of my heartX
-
From now on my head won't look down to a magazineG
Rather it will contemplate the nightU
And its bright starsY
And so no more clich sK
