I'm trying to piece up
The shattered pieces
of my heart
And I don't know
where to start
I don't know
My love is this deep
As water began to swell
From my eyelids
Because all I can see
Or think is her
Trying to bury
All the joyous past
That we share
From the first time
I met her
Until the time
she said goodbye
As I am beginning
to write this down
Tears pours down
Like sudden rain
I don't need pity
Nor for the reader
To choose my side
Of the story
I'm writing this down
For her to know
That I'm thankful
For once in my life
I feel the warmth
of her love
And appreciation
As I am closing
This page
I need to face
All the challenges
With head held high
Because I know
My family will be
there to help
