Wanderer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGD HIJK LMNO

Wanderer far from his homelandA
You are poor and you are aloneB
For the time deprived of listeningC
To the music of mother tongueD
-
Yet here nature is so magnificentE
That you re not entirely lostF
Singing birds on the trees around youG
Would you call it a foreign tongueD
-
Only listening to the autumn fluteH
The cicadas iridescent chimeI
Only noticing of the dragon shapeJ
Big white clouds up in the skiesK
-
You ll embrace what you have inheritedL
The eternal sadness and painM
In your dreams you ll sail away back homeN
With your eyes shielded from the sunO
