Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GH IJ KL MN IO PQ RS

The merciless fire devouredA
The house of my childhood gamesB
-
I needed to overcome sorrowC
And sailed on the golden mast boatD
-
I played on my beautiful flute toE
The high rising moon in the skyF
-
The moon by my singing got saddenedG
And covered herself with a cloudH
-
Then I turned my eyes to the mountainI
But had no more songs on my mindJ
-
It seemed all the joys of my childhoodK
Were burned in the flames of my homeL
-
I wished in despair for the refugeM
That water could offer to meN
-
A sudden reflection of a womanI
Slid by like the one of the moonO
-
And should she sincerely desireP
And should the moon kindly approveQ
-
I m willing to build a new houseR
In th woman s mysterious heartS
