| Big tubs that folk in chicago barbeque | K |
| in and somehow when you talk | L |

| it never gets across how much you | K |
| understood their feelings as the | H |
| whole family attended meetings | N |

| About Hollydale and even though you | K |
| remember your biographers never | G |
| understand your father's pain as he | F |
| sells his stock and another | G |
| dream goes | J |
| And though your're poor it isn't | O |
| poverty that concerns you and | P |
| though they fought a lot | Q |
| it isn't your father's drinking that | R |
| makes any difference but only that | R |

| Everybody is together and you | K |
| and your sister have happy birthdays | S |

| really hope no white person ever has | U |

| because they never understand | V |

| probably talk about my hard childhood | X |
