the room was bathed in moonlight diffused through | J |
those thousands of panes landlords who rented | R |
to people with children were prone to put in windows | S |
she may have been smoking but maybe not | T |
her hair was three quarters her height | U |
which made me a strong believer in the samson myth | V |
and very black | W |
