her grandmother called her from the playgroundA
yes ma'amB
i want chu to learn how to make rolls said the oldC
woman proudlyD
but the little girl didn't wantE
to learn how because she knewF
even if she couldn't say it thatG
that would mean when the old one died she would be lessH
dependent on her spirit soI
she saidJ
i don't want to know how to make no rollsK
with her lips poked outL
and the old woman wiped her hands onM
her apron saying lordN
these childrenO
and neither of them everP
said what they meantQ
and i guess nobody ever doesR
