The Encounter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDCDCEEFF GGGGHHHHIIJJ

I think the universe has been designed for us to engageA
and the horizon has been aligned for this stageA
This encounter isn't by chanceB
rather it's something planned in advanceB
It was destined to beC
something we have to seeC
I just knew it the first time we metD
because I felt butterflies in my tummyC
You became an alphabet I can't forgetD
a precious being like my mummyC
You're my princessE
an empress I have to possessE
You're my queenF
an Irene who's heart is cleanF
-
I think the world has become a global villageG
just for our linkageG
This great messageG
is also for those at the cottageG
Everyone has to be aroundH
this ground which is newfoundH
In order to hear this profound soundH
coming from someone I just foundH
This is my prince my delivererI
an emperor who's a conquerorI
This is my king tooJ
The only thing I'll forever cling toJ
