Discrimination Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGHII JKJKLL

I used to love a radiant girlA
Her lips were like a rose leaf tornB
Her heart was as free as a floating curlA
Or a breeze at mornB
Her step as light as a Peri's daughterC
And her eye as soft as gliding waterC
-
Witching thoughts like things half hidD
Lurk'd beneath her silken lashesE
And a modest droop of the veined lidD
Oft hid their flashesE
But to me the charm was more completeF
As the blush stole up its fringe to meetF
-
Paint me love as a honey beeG
Rosy mouths are things to sipH
Nothing was ever so sweet to meG
As Marion's lipH
Till I learned that a deeper magic liesI
In kissing the lids of her closed eyesI
-
Her sweet brow I seldom touchJ
Save to part her raven hairK
Her bright cheek I gaze on muchJ
Her white hand is fairK
But none of these I've tried them allL
Is like kissing her eyes as the lashes fallL
