Andre's Request. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCCC DEDEFGFG HIJIKAKA

It is not the fear of deathA
That damps my browB
It is not for another breathA
I ask thee nowB
I can die with a lip unstirr'dC
And a quiet heartC
Let but this prayer be heardC
Ere I departC
-
I can give up my mother's lookD
My sister's kissE
I can think of love yet brookD
A death like thisE
I can give up the young fameF
I burn'd to winG
All but the spotless nameF
I glory inG
-
Thine is the power to giveH
Thine to denyI
Joy for the hour I liveJ
Calmness to dieI
By all the brave should cherishK
By my dying breathA
I ask that I may perishK
With a soldier's deathA
