Naked Truth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFFGGHII IIHJKL MMKKNIKK MMMMMOOO

The world isn't asleepA
Yet it is so silentB
For the world is sufferingC
from a plague so violentB
-
A few days before sitting for breakfast I stared at the screenD
Only to see people even little ones screamE
Burning was our capital regionF
And the reason was just religionF
People killing peopleG
without even having a reason so ampleG
Petrol pumps shops vehiclesH
Burned were all quite mercilessI
Everything appeared so meaninglessI
-
And that was when the plague hit usI
Freezing travel in a train or busI
Crowded were the hospitalsH
where everyone said hushJ
Isolated the affected wereK
No one dared to utter religion thereL
-
In a single ward everyone stayedM
No attention to caste they payedM
No one bothered about the religion of the doctorK
Or the nurse who helped their son and daughterK
Shared the room and shared the messN
Above all there was a feeling of onenessI
Without even knowing each otherK
Praying for the well being of people in one way or the otherK
-
When the whole human kindM
Stood together with all their mindM
Strongly to face this hard rindM
The epidemic hit us hardM
And it is really badM
But didn't a feeling of togetherness flourishO
Didn't our differences all of a sudden perishO
Wasn't it humanity that we all were destined to nourishO
