They're Coming! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CCDC EFEF GHGI JKJK

They're coming And it seems so longA
Since sadly autumn laid them lowB
They left us with the robin's songA
They left us to the ice and snowB
-
They're coming So the March wind saithC
Though singing songs with icy breathC
He's chanting of another MayD
He's chanting of King Winter's deathC
-
They're coming 'Neath the forest's moldE
In mossy beds of ferny soilF
Slowly their tiny robes unfoldE
Yet do they neither spin nor toilF
-
They're coming With their influence pureG
Their emblematic power againH
Of him who would our steps allureG
To realms of love devoid of painI
-
They're coming With the summer's breezeJ
With azure skies and sunny showersK
With notes of birds and hum of beesJ
Who will not welcome back the flowersK
