November Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBDEDED FGFGDHDH IJIJKLKL DMDM

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice PsalmA
-
-
November is so drear and chillB
Whilst making leafless branch and treeC
Whilst sweeping over vale and hillB
With all her doleful minstrelsyD
November wails the summer's deathE
In such a melancholy voiceD
She has a withering blighting breathE
She does not bid the heart rejoiceD
-
Yet why repine thou stricken oneF
Grief is the common fate of allG
This the refrain beneath the sunF
Mortals must die and leaves must fallG
They'll live again the leaves and flowersD
When spring returns to bless the earthH
They'll waken 'neath her sunny hoursD
Through nature's touch to beauteous birthH
-
Hope in decay and do not moanI
That God has taken one we loveJ
Why should our hearts be turned to stoneI
When he is safe in heaven aboveJ
Redeemed through Christ who was his trustK
With him in realms of joy on highL
For though down here 'tis dust to dustK
The Christian lives beyond the skyL
-
Then in the autumn's woe rejoiceD
Rejoice in calm rejoice in stormM
In either hear God's tender voiceD
For both his holy will performM
