No Other Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBD EFEF GHGH IJIJ HKHK

Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved ActsA
-
-
Swiftly we float upon time's tideB
Adown the stream of yearsC
Sometimes past hills of joy we glideB
Sometimes through vales of tearsD
-
Age follows youth which ere we knowE
Has vanished like a dreamF
And takes its glamour from the glowE
Of mem'ry's silvery gleamF
-
There is no halt and more and moreG
There seems an open seaH
Reaching us with its ceaseless roarG
It is eternityH
-
There is one Pilot that we needI
One who can safely steerJ
One who at heaven's court can pleadI
And all our journey cheerJ
-
'Tis Jesus Christ and all who seeH
In him the truth the wayK
Are in possession of the keyH
To heaven's eternal dayK
