in the midst of a war torn hungry and poor world | B |

A difficult existence and a heartless fate | C |
even just getting through the gruel every day is a struggle | D |

Their frail little frame | E |
without anything to eat and nowhere to sleep | F |

Once brilliant eyes that are now dull and depressing | G |

They cry as they experience the anguish | H |
Their innocence was taken away | I |
their youth was snatched | J |
forced to continue and to mature too quickly | K |

There is no time to fantasize or play | I |

In such a harsh environment it's just endless toil | L |
They are responsible for the failure of the system | M |
Where venomous corruption and greed have taken hold | N |
They live in a world that ignores their predicament | O |
and abandons them to endure their suffering in the pitch black night | P |
The suffering kid of Biafra | A |
Their anguish was in vain and their pleas went unnoticed | Q |

A fact that cannot be denied | R |

Their suffering is genuine and the future is uncertain | S |
Therefore let's remember the Biafran child | T |

Because of their genuine struggle and excruciating anguish | H |
- | |
May we cooperate to provide them with relief | U |
Additionally give them a chance to live a life based on faith | V |
