Slowly I gathered my selfA
Off the groundB
But within me was a smallC
Molecule of hopeD
And great expectationE
I didn t know the origin ofF
The molecule but I felt it pushingG
Me to take another stepH
Through the strange thick forestI
-
The happiness of the sun renewedJ
The remaining strength within meK
As I embarked on my tough journeyK
The tall trees seemed to beK
Competing for happiness cakeL
The sun was offering to themM
The cool breeze dancing treesN
Blubbering monkeysN
Jumping from branch to branchO
All didn t seem to careP
About this intruder in their territoryK
-
The courteous African girlQ
Abandoned and aloneR
Advancing through the wild worldS
The world seemed history to meK
As I walked through the strange forestI
Everything throughout the forestI
Ranging from trees insects to plantsT
And animals seemed to be out of this worldS
This made me feel rejectedU
-
My journey in the forest seemed longV
I could not tellW
If really it would ever endX
I went on and onY
I was then weak and tiredZ
I could not move any longerA2
There was no home for me to sleep inB2
There was no food for me to eatC2
And there was no friend to make me laughD2
-
Then I sunk into the groundB
As the music in my stomachE2
Increased from second to secondF2
I lay on my backG2
On the dewy leavesH2
Only to let my lungs relaxI2
I had not yet seen my momJ2
