Saddening Horror Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB ABAA AAAA

I thought I was a heroA
When I looked my self in the mirrorB
Until I fall in the narrowA
Ditch of distress and horrorB
-
I sang the song like a sparrowA
And struggle to get the honorB
That gets in to the burrowA
Of deep hollow unearthed by harrowA
-
Should I get a cool faroA
With a soul soothing swallowA
To quench the thirst and sorrowA
That froze the bone and marrowA
