Sonnet Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDE FGFG HI

In shame is man conceived through pain is bornA
And brief the time upon this earth he goesB
In life inconstant full of fears and woesB
He dies a shadow by the sun forlornA
-
And yet from such a man O Endless GodC
Within Thyself glorified and blissfullyD
Living through Thyself almost wistfullyD
Dost Thou desire from him both love and laudE
-
Wondrous the works of Thy charity areF
At which Cherubim comprehension's crestG
Wonder bemused and righteous burns afarF
The flame the Seraphim in love's sweet zestG
-
O most Holy Lord would that we too hadH
To give thee back that which thou have hast badeI
