Sonnet I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABA CDEF FGHI FJ

Alas hardpressed the whirling orbsA
And swift Titan hie fleeting hoursA
And cleave delights with woe avidB
Death might fast on us she stridesA
-
Whilst I onward mark more the deepC
Shadow of my wrongs that prey untoldD
On a heart cowed now by constant woeE
And with tears my youthful faults I rueF
-
Power delights wealth such adoF
Tho ne'er for naught 'tis ill they workG
For our desire they turn astrayH
From its rightful bliss God we nameI
-
Brief gains O blissful a hundredfoldF
Who knows quick these shadows' true shapeJ
