La fabbrica del mondoA
-
-
The fabric of the world earth air and skiesB
Each particle thereof and tiniest partC
Designed for special ends proclaims the artC
Of an almighty Maker good and wiseB
Nathless the lawless brutes our crimes and liesB
The joys of vicious men the good man's smartC
All creatures swerving from their ends impartC
Doubts that the Ruler is nor good nor wiseB
Can it then be that boundless Power Love MindD
Lets others reign the while He takes reposeE
Hath He grown old or hath He ceased to heedF
Nay one God made and rules He shall unwindD
The tangled skein the hidden law discloseE
Whereby so many sinned in thought and deedF
