The Doom Of Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDBBDDBEFGEFG

Spirto ben natoA
-
-
Choice soul in whom as in a glass we seeB
Mirrored in thy pure form and delicateC
What beauties heaven and nature can createD
The paragon of all their works to beB
Fair soul in whom love pity pietyB
Have found a home as from thy outward stateD
We clearly read and are so rare and greatD
That they adorn none other like to theeB
Love takes me captive beauty binds my soulE
Pity and mercy with their gentle eyesF
Wake in my heart a hope that cannot cheatG
What law what destiny what fell controlE
What cruelty or late or soon deniesF
That death should spare perfection so completeG
