On Dante Alighieri Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A ABBAABBACDECFE

Quante dirne si de'A
-
-
No tongue can tell of him what should be toldA
For on blind eyes his splendour shines too strongB
'Twere easier to blame those who wrought him wrongB
Than sound his least praise with a mouth of goldA
He to explore the place of pain was boldA
Then soared to God to teach our souls by songB
The gates heaven oped to bear his feet alongB
Against his just desire his country rolledA
Thankless I call her and to her own painC
The nurse of fell mischance for sign take thisD
That ever to the best she deals more scornE
Among a thousand proofs let one remainC
Though ne'er was fortune more unjust than hisF
His equal or his better ne'er was bornE
