No Escape From Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCBDEEDFF

Non posso altra figuraA
-
-
I cannot by the utmost flight of thoughtB
Conceive another form of air or clayC
Wherewith against thy beauty to arrayC
My wounded heart in armour fancy wroughtB
For lacking thee so low my state is broughtB
That Love hath stolen all my strength awayC
Whence when I fain would halve my griefs they weighC
With double sorrow and I sink to noughtB
Thus all in vain my soul to scape thee fliesD
For ever faster flies her beauteous foeE
From the swift footed feebly run the slowE
Yet with his hands Love wipes my weeping eyesD
Saying this toil will end in happy cheerF
What costs the heart so much must needs be dearF
