Joy May Kill. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCDBEFGEFH

Non men gran grasia donnaA
-
-
Too much good luck no less than miseryB
May kill a man condemned to mortal painC
If lost to hope and chilled in every veinC
A sudden pardon comes to set him freeB
Thus thy unwonted kindness shown to meB
Amid the gloom where only sad thoughts reignC
With too much rapture bringing light againD
Threatens my life more than that agonyB
Good news and bad may bear the self same knifeE
And death may follow both upon their flightF
For hearts that shrink or swell alike will breakG
Let then thy beauty to preserve my lifeE
Temper the source of this supreme delightF
Lest joy so poignant slay a soul so weakH
