Beauty And The Artist Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCBDEADEA

Al cor di zolfoA
-
-
A heart of flaming sulphur flesh of towB
Bones of dry wood a soul without a guideC
To curb the fiery will the ruffling prideC
Of fierce desires that from the passions flowB
A sightless mind that weak and lame doth goB
Mid snares and pitfalls scattered far and wideC
What wonder if the first chance brand appliedC
To fuel massed like this should make it glowB
Add beauteous art which brought with us from heavenD
Will conquer nature so divine a powerE
Belongs to him who strives with every nerveA
If I was made for art from childhood givenD
A prey for burning beauty to devourE
I blame the mistress I was born to serveA
