Our Love Shall Never Die Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FCGHIG JK LMNAL OCPQR STUG VC

My only true love walk with me softlyA
through the velvet realms of paradise andB
our souls will become as One With youC
there is no suffering or darkness for yourD
beauty outshines even that of the SunE
-
Alone I was at first Searching for LoveF
to quench my agonizing thirst I prayed toC
God that I could die With these words IG
let out a painful sigh Please Lord giveH
me someone to love or tears I shall foreverI
cryG
-
Dear God He must have answered my prayersJ
for here you stand before my startled eyesK
-
And as the Moon awards the Earth its lightL
in the midst of all death pierces through theM
desolate night I now stand mesmerized inN
your presence like a poor blind man suddenlyA
given back like a gift his sightL
-
Now I can see thy true beauty Now I canO
kiss thy fair skin O but to swallow youC
whole savoring every inch with my tongueP
Such satisfaction would help my broken heartQ
to be born againR
-
My dreams are now reality My wishes haveS
all come true because now I can truly holdT
you close to me for eternity Softly whisperingU
the words our love shall never dieG
-
This love no one will ever take away from usV
This much I promise to be trueC
