She wakes the wind flower from her sleep | F |
And lights the woods with April's moon | G |
The violets lift their heads to peep | F |
The daisies brave the sun at noon | G |

When Spring's voluptuousness has fled | J |
Awake awake O throstle sweet | K |
And haste with all your choir to greet | K |
This Queen who comes with wakening feet | K |

Until the dawning of one face | A |
Across the void of time and space | A |
Shall bring again her day of grace | A |
Rejoice O Earth Rejoice and sing | M |
This is the promise of the Spring | M |
