A Vow-day Flower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDC EFAG HIAI JFJF

POVERTY CHASTITY OBEDIENCEA
-
-
Three little leaves like shamrockB
And the trefoil's love lit eyesC
Whether it takes the sunshineD
Or the shadows from the skiesC
-
And richer than rose or lilyE
Is the flower he wears todayF
With triune bloom and fragranceA
From earth to heaven alwayG
-
Poverty is the low leafH
And one is chastely whiteI
And the red love of obedienceA
Goes up to God a lightI
-
Grow good flower and keep himJ
Who wears your bloom todayF
Shadow and sunshine bless himJ
And the trefoil's heavenward wayF
