| No body was home running from war | C |
| Now staying safe is to stay home | D |
| No body to bury our minds are against us | B |

| It's our bombs that started this war | C |
| It rages at a distance so we dismiss all | E |
| Its victims as strangers it was us who turned bleakly away | F |
| We said it's not up to us to make this place a better land | G |

| I feel the cost of it pushing my body | H |
| Like I push my hands into pocket | I |
| And softly I walk and see it this is all we deserve | J |
| The buildings are screaming | K |
| I can't ask for help | L |
| Nobody knows me | H |

| Hostile Worried Lonely | H |
| Europe is lost | M |
| America lost | M |
| Africa is lost | M |
| Asia is lost | M |
| - | |
| And still we are clamouring victory | H |
| All that is meaningless rules | N |
| And we have learned nothing from history | H |
