IRENE BOLDEN: I am a long time fan of Maya Angelou, when I was younger it was listening to her lessons in creative writing, which encouraged me to be a 'strong black woman'. This is the first time I have read this poem, I like it, it invites me to study the words she uses to describe an act of love
