Catherine lee: I first heard of this poem after my first visit with my homeopathiest.. l welcomed it with open arms and open mind, how'evr l felt a great sorrow of her analogy known it to be true at the time...where she see me as a bird with my wings clipped and feet tied, 'but l kept singing and She heard my voice'

Kenneth R.Jenkins: Ms Angelou as always present raises her voice through words that she could be heard; loud and clear. She may not with us but her voice through words lingering on and on.
