Little lion faceA
I stopped to pickB
among the mass of thickB
succulent blooms the twiceC
-
streaked flanges of your silkD
sunwheel relaxed in wideE
dilation I brought insideE
placed in a vase MilkD
-
of your shaggy stemF
sticky on my fingers andG
your barbs hooked to my handH
sudden stings from themF
-
were sweet Now I'm boldI
to touch your swollen neckJ
put careful lips to slickB
petals snuff up goldI
-
pollen in your navel cupK
Still fresh before nightL
I leave you dawn's appetiteL
to renew our glide and suckM
-
An hour ahead of sunN
I come to find you You'reO
twisted shut as a burrP
neck drooped unconsciousQ
-
an inert limp bundleR
a furled cocoon yourS
sun streaked aureoleT
eclipsed and dunN
-
Strange feral flower asleepU
with flame ruff wiltedV
all magic haltedW
a drink I pour steepU
-
in the glass for yourS
undulant stem to suckM
Oh lift your young neckJ
open and expand to yourS
-
lover hot lightL
Gold corona widen to skyX
I hold you lion in my eyeX
sunup until nightL
