it spilled its virile rays | H |
our eyes enlarged our blood reared with the waves | I |
We craved its secret but unreachable | J |
it held away from us chilly and frail | K |
Distance kept it magnate Enigma made it white | L |

When we learned to read it with our rod | M |
reflected light revealed | N |
a lead mirror a bruised shield | N |
seamed with scars and shadow soiled | O |
A half faced sycophant its glitter borrowed | P |
rode around our throne | E |

On the moon there shines earth light | L |
as moonlight shines upon th earth | Q |
If on its obsidian we set our weightless foot | R |
and sniff no wind and lick no rain | S |
and feel no gauze between us and the Fire | D |
will we trot its grassless skull sick for the homelike shade | T |

Naked to the earth beam we shall be | U |
who have arrived to map an apparition | V |
who walk upon the forehead of a myth | W |
Can flesh rub with symbol If our ball | X |
be iron and not light our earliest wish | Y |
eclipses Dare we land upon a dream | Z |
