Father God I come before you as a sinner and suchA
But I have one request if it's not too muchA
There is one gift I want to bestow on my sonB
Please Lord may your will be doneB
-
Lord mansions and earthly richest I have notC
But Lord my faith in you is all I gotC
My gift for my only son is that my God becomes hisD
And that my son will grow up daily praying to you Lord on his kneesE
-
Lord in my request I do not presume to be worthy and for your forgiveness I am thirstyF
But you Lord your nature is always to have mercyF
-
Father God may I please bestow my blessing on my son if I mayG
So that he can grow in your Word steadfastness everydayG
-
Lord bless my son with good health joy love and peaceH
Lord may he never run out of theseE
Lord I pray that my son will be obedient toI
you I will be pleased with thisJ
And Lord when you call may he say yesK
-
Lord this is my hearts prayer for my son while I draw breathL
Lord only you know the dates and times of everyone's deathL
-
Father God may you please hear my prayer and graciously takeM
not for my but Jesus' sakeM
