The Tree Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH IJIJ

IN the dim woods one treeA
Was by the cunning seasons builded fairB
With the rain's masonryA
And delicate craft of airB
-
Unknown of anyoneC
She was the wind's green daughter Her the doveD
Made between leaf and sunC
His murmuring house of loveD
-
Quiet as a seemly thoughtE
Her infinite strength of shade she stretched aroundF
Peace like a spell she wroughtE
On that enclos d groundF
-
Bred of such lowly stuffG
Blown mast a sheltering day a tender nightH
Now stars seem kin enoughG
To company her heightH
-
She knows not whence she grewI
So in my heart from some forgotten seedJ
The lovely thought of youI
Towered to the lovelier needJ
