The Immortal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCABDCDEE FAAAAF

BEAUTY is still immortal in our eyesA
When sways no more the spirit haunted reedB
When the wild grape shall buildC
No more her canopiesA
When blows no more the moon gray thistle seedB
When the last bell has lulled the white flocks homeD
When the last eve has stilledC
The wandering wing and touched the dying foamD
When the last moon burns low and spark by sparkE
The little worlds die out along the darkE
-
Beauty that rosed the moth wing touched the landF
With clover horns and delicate faint flowersA
Beauty that bade the showersA
Beat on the violet's faceA
Shall hold the eternal heavens within their placeA
And hear new stars come singing from God's handF
