The Fortune Seeker Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEEFGFG HCHIJKJKLLFGFG

HOLLYHOCKS slant in the windA
Gallantly blowingB
Crinkled and purfled and linedA
Thank God for their growingB
Their burden is only of beesC
Banded and brownD
But she O she'sC
The worth of my world on her head for a crownD
How can she step it so freely so lightlyE
Her head like a star on a stem showing whitelyE
Mow can she carry herF
Wealth with that innocent airG
I'm going to marry her marry her marry herF
Just for the wealth of her hairG
-
Larkspurs as deep as a poolH
Lilies like ladiesC
Silvered and silked where the coolH
Elder tree shade isI
These are the queens of the sunJ
Splendid and sweetK
But she my oneJ
Flower's without price from her head to her feetK
How can she go by the lanes and the ditchesL
Her little proud head unbowed by its richesL
How can she carry herF
Fortune so light in the airG
I'm going to marry her marry her marry herF
Just for the gold of her hairG
