The Coloured Hours Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE FGBGFEFE

GRAY hours have citiesA
Green hours have rhymesB
Of hearts grown lovingC
In old summertimesB
But the white hours have onlyD
A cloud in the skyE
And a star bright and lonelyD
To remember them byE
-
Gold hours have laughterF
Red hours have songG
Drawn from lost fountainsB
Of beauty and wrongG
But the white hours O tenderF
As rose flakes they lieE
With youth's fallen splendourF
To remember them byE
