The Chosen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFE

CALLED to a way too high for me I leanA
Out from my narrow window o'er the streetB
and know the fields I cannot see are greenA
And guess the songs I cannot hear are sweetB
-
Break up the vision round me Lord and thrustC
Me from Thy side unhoused without the barsD
For all my heart is hungry for the dustC
And all my soul is weary of the starsD
-
I would seek out a little roof insteadE
A little lamp to make my darkness braveF
'For though she heal a multitude ' Love saidE
'Herself she cannot save '-
