Duna Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFG HIHIJKHK

WHEN I was a little ladA
With folly on my lipsB
Fain was I for journeyingC
All the seas in shipsB
But now across the southern swellD
Every dawn I hearE
The little streams of DunaF
Running clearG
-
When I was a young manH
Before my beard was grayI
All to ships and sailormenH
I gave my heart awayI
But I'm weary of the sea windJ
I'm weary of the foamK
And the little stars of DunaH
Call me homeK
