Dream River Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH

WIND SILVERED willows hedge the streamA
And all within is hushed and coolB
The water in an endless dreamA
Goes sliding down from pool to poolB
And every pool a sapphire isC
From shadowy deep to sunlit edgeD
Ribboned around with irisesC
And cleft with emerald spears of sedgeD
-
O every morn the winds are stilledE
The sunlight falls in amber barsF
O every night the pools are filledE
With silver brede of shaken starsF
O every morn the sparrow flingsG
His elfin trills athwart the hushH
And here unseen at eve there singsG
One crystal throated hermit thrushH
