New Moon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBC DEEF GGH IJGK

Over meadow stands new moonA
Over boundary of dewB
Come we'll make a friend of youB
Dear distant alienC
-
In the day I hide am quietD
Moon above I have no mightE
I rush on this lunar nightE
To the shoulder of belovedF
-
I'll never ask me 'Who's he '-
All to know your lips will sayG
Hugs are rude but in the dayG
In the day the fit is funnyH
-
In the day torn by a demon proudI
With a smile on lips I lieJ
Night though Darling far awayG
Crescent stands above the woodK
