At Last Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

What though upon a wintry sea our life bark sailsA
What though we tremble 'neath its cruel galesA
Its icy blastB
We see a happy port lie far beforeC
We see its shining waves its sunny shoreC
Where we shall wander and forget the troubled pastB
At lastB
-
No storms approach that quiet shore no nightD
Falls on its silver streams and valleys brightD
And gardens vastB
Within that pleasant land of perfect peaceE
Our toil worn feet shall stay our wanderings ceaseE
There shall we resting all forget the pastB
At lastB
-
The sorrows we have hid in silent wearinessF
As birds above a wounded bleeding breastG
Their bright plumes castB
The griefs like mourners in a dark arrayH
That haunt our footsteps here will flee awayH
And leave us to forget the sorrowful pastB
At lastB
-
Voices we loved sound from those far off landsI
And thrill our hearts life's golden sandsI
Are dropping fastB
Soon shall we meet by the river of peace and sayH
As the night flees before the eye of dayH
So faded from our eyes the mournful pastB
At lastB
