A Dream Of Spring Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

The world is asleep All hushed is Nature's warm sweet breathA
The world is asleep and dreaming the silent dream of snowB
But through the silence that seems like the silence of deathA
Under their shroud of ermine the souls of the roses glowB
-
And forever the heart of the water throbs and beatsC
Though bound by a million gleaming fetters and crystal ringsD
No sound on lonesome mornings the lonely watcher greetsC
But the frosty pane is impressed with the shadow of coming wingsD
